Title: WTF just happened to my STI's turbo?

Hey guys, just a heads up, my STI's turbo just failed on me after I took it out for a spin. I'm getting an error code saying it's due to low oil pressure, but I'm 90% sure the oil level was fine. Has anyone else had this issue or know what might be going on?

"Dude, I had a similar problem with my STI and I found out it was just a faulty boost controller. Had to replace it and everything's been running smoothly since. You might want to check that first before diving into more complicated issues."

"Hey OP, sorry to hear that. I've had a similar issue with my Evo's turbo and it turned out to be a faulty actuator. Make sure to check your dash lights and log files, might give you a hint about what's going on."

"Hey OP, I'm no expert but sounds like a classic case of turbo failure. You might wanna check the oil and cooling system, make sure it's not just a case of overheating causing the issue. Have you tried looking for any error codes?"

"Dude, sorry to hear that! Had a similar issue with my old STI's turbo, ended up being a faulty wastegate actuator. Try checking the boost pressure and actuator for signs of wear, might save you a costly rebuild."

"Dude, I'd recommend checking your engine oil levels and condition first, could be a sign of engine issues not related to the turbo. Also, when did this happen? Was there any recent software updates or maintenance done on your car?"

"Dude, that's a bummer. Did you get any error codes poppin' up on your car's computer after it happened? Was it a sudden loss of boost or did it gradually start losing power?"

"Yo, STI owner, sorry to hear that. Have you checked the TCU and ECU codes to see if anything's throwing an error? That might give us some clues about what's going on with the turbo."

"Yo, did u check the boost pressure gauge and the wastegate actuator? Sometimes those little things can malfunction and mess with the turbo's performance, might wanna look into those first."

"Lol, sounds like you're having some major car drama! Was it a sudden oil leak or could it be electrical? Maybe you wanna check the engine logs for any error codes?"

"Dude, I feel you, my GT-R had a similar issue last month. It turned out the boost controller was faulty, might want to check that first?"

"Dude, I feel ya - I had a similar issue with my old GT86. Make sure the boost control solenoid is good, that's usually the culprit. Otherwise, it's worth looking into the turbo's actuator and wastegate."
