"Hey guys, I just experienced one of the worst nightmares in crypto - I accidentally deleted my Bitcoin wallet and lost all access to my private keys. I know I'm far from the only one out there who's been in a similar situation, so I wanted to start a thread to gather advice on what to do if you've lost all access to your crypto forever. What's your strategy when faced with this kind of situation?"

"Dude, if you've lost your crypto keys forever, the worst that can happen is you've lost your investment. Try to remember the seed phrase or use a recovery seed, but honestly, it's not worth getting too stressed about. Just chalk it up as a lesson learned and move on."

"Dude, I feel your pain if you've lost your keys. If you're desperate to recover them, I'd recommend checking your old emails/PCs for any backup seed phrases or wallet archives. Otherwise, it's time to accept the loss & take the hit, unfortunately."

"Dang, lost keys is a major problem . If you've lost your crypto keys forever, I'd say your best bet is to try and recover them via cold storage wallets or reach out to the exchange directly to see if they can help you recover your assets."

"Lost keys are a harsh reality, no way around it. Consider reaching out to your exchange for any chance of recovery via cold wallet or backup, even if slim. If that's a no-go, time to cut losses and move on."

"Dude, I've been there too. If you've lost your keys, I think your best bet is to use a hardware wallet recovery service, but be prepared for the fact that it'll be a long shot. Fingers crossed your wallet was set up with a decent seed phrase backup"

"Dude, I feel you, I've been there too. If you've lost your keys, your best bet is to try and recover them from old backups or wallets, but if that's not possible, you're basically done. Has anyone had any success with the 'key retrieval services' that claim to help?"
