Hey all, I'm curious to hear from our resident experts on this one: what's the deal with L1 scalability? We've all heard about the limitations of block sizes and gas fees, but are there real solutions out there, or are we stuck with the status quo?

I gotta say, the more I dive into L1 scalability solutions, the more I'm convinced that sharding is the way forward. Sharding can help distribute the load across multiple chains, increasing overall throughput. Has anyone seen any notable success stories with sharding implementations?

"Hey guys, I think we need to focus on modular scaling solutions instead of trying to optimize L1 for every use case. Layer 2 scaling and sharding are getting more efficient and widely adopted, IMHO. Anyone else think we're overcomplicating things with L1 optimizations?"
