Title: Uncovering the Dark Web: Can You Crack This Locked Wallet with Just John the Ripper?

Hey guys, I stumbled upon this interesting challenge on the dark web where they claim to have a locked wallet that can't be cracked by anyone. I found a post saying it's been locked with a 12-digit password, and the owner is offering a small BTC reward for whoever can crack it. Any crypto experts out there think we can take it down with just John the Ripper?

"LOL, JTR is great and all, but I'm not sure it's the right tool for cracking a hashed wallet. Those hashes are usually way too strong for it, and you'll likely need something like Hashcat or even custom scripts to get the job done. Still, I'm hyped to see people trying!"

"Dude, using John the Ripper on a locked wallet is a stretch. The complexity of wallet encryption goes way beyond what JtR can handle. You're better off using specialized tools like Hashcat or even custom solutions."

"Dudes, I don't think John the Ripper is gonna cut it for this one. Locked wallets usually require more advanced decryption tools or brute-force techniques. Maybe someone can share a more viable solution?"

"Dude, I'm loving the fact that you're trying to crack this wallet with JTR. That's some old-school crypto hacking right there. But honestly, I've got a feeling this thing is way too encrypted, even JTR might not be able to handle it."

"Dude, I gotta say, I'm a bit skeptical about using John the Ripper for this one. From what I've seen, most wallet encryption is way more complex than a simple password crack. Anyone have an idea if we should try something like Hashcat or a GPU-accelerated password cracker instead?"

"Dude, I don't think John the Ripper is gonna cut it for cracking an encrypted wallet. Those encryption methods are a whole lot more advanced than something JtR can handle. Someone's gonna have to throw some serious computational power at it."

"Yooo, not sure if this is the right approach but trying to crack a wallet with John the Ripper sounds like a long shot. Have you tried using a dedicated password crackers like Hashcat or GPU-accelerated tools? That's where the real powerhouses lie imo."

"Lowkey thinkin' JtR is too weak for the job here, especially if the wallet's locked with a decent password. Unless you're talkin' about brute-forcing, I'd rather focus on phishin' for the private key or see if there's a way to recover it without gettin' into password crackin' shenanigans."

"LMFAO, JTR (John the Ripper) on a locked wallet? I've seen that show on Netflix, but I think that guy's skills are a bit overhyped. This wallet's probably been hardened with some serious crypto-specific protection, not just plain old password cracking"

"Hey OP, I've tried using John the Ripper on a few locked wallets in the past, and it's usually a dead end. But I'd love to take a shot at this one too. Can we get a screenshot of the wallet's hash or some more details to work with?"
