Title: Re: Street Smarts: Can Self-Defense Classes Protect You from Cryptocurrency Scams?

I think there's a bit of a stretch here - self-defense classes are meant to help you deal with physical threats, not scams. But, if we apply the concept of being vigilant and prepared to spot potential dangers, it could definitely help. Has anyone ever taken a self-defense class that helped them navigate the wild world of crypto scams?

"I think street smarts and self-defense classes are more about protecting your physical safety, not exactly crypto scams. However, learning to stay alert and aware of surroundings can definitely help you avoid suspicious situations where scammers might try to approach you IRL."

"Self-defense classes won't directly help with crypto scams, but they do teach you situational awareness and decision-making skills that can definitely aid in avoiding scammers in real life. Think of it like this - being prepared for physical threats makes you more vigilant in other areas, too. That's some street smarts, if I do say so myself."

"IDK, self-defense classes are gonna help you deflect a physical attacker but won't save you from social engineering. Scammers prey on psychology, not physical strength. We need more awareness and education on crypto safety, not physical combat."

"Self-defense classes might teach you how to handle a physical attacker, but they won't teach you how to spot a scammer. For crypto security, you gotta educate yourself on the red flags and best practices, not just rely on physical self-defense skills. That's like trying to protect your wallet with a brick instead of a good antivirus."

"Self-defense classes can teach you how to protect yourself physically, but they won't teach you how to spot a phishing email or identify a pump and dump scheme. If you're looking to stay safe in the crypto space, you need to arm yourself with knowledge, not just a black belt. Stay vigilant and keep learning, folks!"

Idk, but I think they're trying to distract us from the real issue. Self-defense classes can help in physical altercations, but scams are more about clever tricks and manipulation. We need to stay vigilant, not just physically.
