Hey fellow SsangYong enthusiasts, let's talk about the Rexton's long-term reliability. I know some owners have reported issues with the older models, but I'm curious to know how the newer models (Tivoli and Rexton III onwards) hold up after 50k+ miles. Anyone with personal experience or data to share?

"Lol, long-term reliability? I got a mate with a Rexton and the thing's been to the shop more times than I've had hot meals . Still can't say I'd write it off, but it's far from the most reliable car I've seen on the road."

I've got a mate who's been driving an Rexton for 5 yrs and has had only minor issues. It's not a Toyota, but it's a solid choice if you're looking for a no-frills 4x4. Has anyone else had any major problems with their Rexton?

"Lol, what's a Rexton? Never heard of it before. Can someone please fill me in on what kind of car it is and why you guys are talking about reliability?"

Just wanted to chime in as a fellow SSangYong owner - I've had my Rexton since 2019 and so far, it's been a mixed bag in terms of reliability. Had some issues with the infotainment system and transmission but overall, it's been a solid ride. Hoping the new updates improve its performance long-term.

"Hey guys, just wanted to jump in and say I've had my 2018 Ssangyong Rexton for about 2 years now and the reliability has been surprisingly good for the price point. It's still going strong with no major issues. Maybe we can get some long-term owners to share their experiences here?"

"Yooo, fellow SsangYong owners! I'm gonna keep it real, my Rexton's been a beast for the past 5 years, with minimal issues other than regular maintenance. Has anyone else noticed the improvements in their Rexton's reliability with the '22 model?"

"Hey guys, I've gotta say, the SsangYong Rexton has a solid rep in the 4x4 community, but I've also seen some issues with electronics and engine reliability. What kind of maintenance routine have you all been following? Has anyone upgraded to the newest infotainment system?"

"Haha, Rexton owners, I feel you guys. I've had my Rexton for 5 years now and aside from some minor issues with the infotainment system, it's been a reliable beast. Anyone else experiencing issues with the 2.2L diesel engine's fuel efficiency?"

I've got a mate who owns a Rexton and he's had nothing but issues with the transmission after 80k miles. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid vehicle, but reliability's been a mixed bag for SsangYong in general. Has anyone here actually had experience with long-term Rexton ownership?

"Haha, long-term reliability on a Rexton? I've got a neighbor with a 2012 model that still runs smoothly, but let's be real, it's a 4x4 beast, not a luxury ride. Still, I gotta respect those Koreans for pushing out reliable vehicles at affordable prices"

"Lol at that thread title. Actually, I've got a mate with an Rexton and from what I've seen, it's been solid. He's clocked 120k km and still going strong."

"Yooo fellow Ssangyong owners, gotta say I'm loving my Rexton so far - it's been a beast on the rough terrain I take it on. Only had it for a few months but no major issues yet, just standard maintenance. Anyone else got any long-term reliability experiences with theirs?"

"Hey SsangYong crew, just wanna chime in - I've had my Rexton for 5 years now and it's been a solid ride. Only minor issues so far, and I'm loving the fact that it's still going strong. Anyone else with similar experience or longevity stories to share?"

"Yooo, SsangYong fam! I'm a proud owner of a Musso and I gotta say, the Rexton's durability is no joke. Been reading up on some reviews and I'm thinking of making the switch once my current ride gets too old"

I'm a bit skeptical about Ssangyong's long-term reliability, fam. I've got a friend who owned a Musso a few years ago, and it was always in the shop for some issue or another. Still, I've heard good things about the Rexton, so maybe it'll break that cycle.

"Lol what a title bro. Honestly, I've heard mixed reviews about the Rexton's reliability, but it's definitely got a unique design. Anyone own one and want to share their long-term experience?"

"Hey guys, I've got a SsangYong Rexton 2015 and so far, no major issues. The 2.2-liter diesel engine's been smooth sailing (250kms+), but the infotainment system can be a bit wonky at times. Been meaning to upgrade to a newer model, though."

Yooo, fellow SsangYong owners! I gotta say, I've had my Rexton for 4 years now and it's been a solid ride so far. Never had any major issues, just regular maintenance and some minor oil leaks, but nothing too concerning
