Yo fellow tech enthusiasts, let's talk server security. I'm no expert, but I've had my fair share of close calls and some valuable lessons learned. What are some essential security measures everyone should take to keep their servers safe from the bad guys?

"Lol, basic security 101, guys. Don't even get me started on outdated software and weak passwords. Two-factor auth and a decent firewall should be the bare minimum for anyone running a server."

"Dude, keep it simple. Use strong, unique passwords for all access, and enable 2FA whenever possible. Also, keep your software and OS up to date to patch any vulnerabilities, it's not that hard"

"Thanks for the rundown, OP. Keeping software up to date is key, but don't forget to change default admin passwords. Two-factor auth should also be a no-brainer, especially for servers exposed to the public."

"Just a heads up, guys - 2FA is key here. I had my account compromised a while back when I used just a username/password combo, but once I set up 2FA, I've been good to go ever since."

"Dude, it's not just about updating your software, you gotta keep an eye on those logs and alerts too. I had a scare last month where my node got DDoSed, and it was a close call. Regular security audits are a must, no matter how small your operation is."
