Title: Ruby Ruckus: Ruby on Rails vs RubyMotion for Mobile Dev

Hey guys, I've been playing around with Ruby on Rails for a bit, but I'm curious about getting into mobile dev. Recently, I came across RubyMotion and I'm torn between the two. Has anyone out there used both, or have experience with one or the other?

"I've played around with RubyMotion for some mobile dev projects and I gotta say, it's super convenient for porting Ruby logic to iOS and Android. However, for complex apps, I think you're right that Ruby on Rails might be a better choice due to its robust ecosystem and tools. Anyone have experience with Hanami? That's another up-and-coming option I've been eyeing."

"Hey devs, just wanted to add my 2 cents - I've used Ruby on Rails for backend stuff, but for mobile apps, I've had way better experiences with RubyMotion. It's a bit of a learning curve, but the result is worth it: clean code, native performance, and ease of maintenance. Has anyone else had any success with this combo?"

"Been following this thread. I've played with RubyMotion for iOS dev, but I gotta say, it's a solid choice for getting apps on the App Store quickly. Anyone with experience using Ruby on Rails for mobile dev, what's the verdict?"

"Hey guys, I've dabbled in Ruby on Rails for web dev and I gotta say, it's a solid choice. For mobile dev, I've used RubyMotion and it's decent, but I think the community is way smaller compared to other frameworks like React Native or Flutter. Anyone else have experience with RubyMotion?"
