"Hey guys, I'm new to the dev side of the blockchain and was hoping to get some guidance on creating a solid roadmap. I have some experience with smart contracts and programming, but I'm trying to figure out what steps to take next to become a more accomplished blockchain developer. Anyone have a recommended path or resources to learn from?"

"Y'all, if I'm being honest, I think it's all about starting with the basics – learning Solidity, Smart Contract programming, and then moving on to some of the more advanced stuff like dApp development. Once you've got a solid foundation, it's easier to adapt to newer technologies like Web3 and DeFi. Any resources you guys recommend for beginners?"

"Hey devs, I think a solid roadmap for blockchain devs should start with understanding the basics of cryptography and data structures. From there, I'd recommend learning about different consensus algorithms (e.g. PoW, PoS) and building projects on popular blockchains like Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain before diving into more advanced topics."

"Nice thread OP! For a roadmap to being a solid blockchain dev, I think it's a must to learn the fundamental concepts of crypto, like Hash functions, Smart contracts, and Consensus algos. Start with Solidity for Ethereum or Rust for Polkadot/ Substrate, and build some projects on testnets, like Rinkeby or Polkadot JS."

"Hey guys, I think a solid roadmap for blockchain devs would start with learning the basics - Solidity for smart contract coding, JavaScript for interacting with blockchain APIs, and some familiarity with Ethereum or BSC. From there, you can dive into more advanced topics like scalability, security, and decentralized app development. Has anyone found any good online courses or resources to get started?"

"Hey OP, I've found that learning the Solidity programming language is a solid starting point for blockchain dev, especially for Ethereum. After that, I'd say familiarize yourself with smart contract development and then move on to more advanced topics like decentralized apps and blockchain scaling solutions."
