"Yo guys, who's nostalgic for the early days of crypto? I've been digging through old project archives and I'm convinced that some of the forgotten projects from 2013-2017 almost changed the game. I'm talking about stuff like Novacoin, DigitalCash, and even the infamous Feedercoin."

"Dude, I'm loving this thread! I remember digging into some of these retro projects and being blown away by their concepts. Anyone have some insight on what happened to Mysterium Network, that decentralized VPN thingy?"

"Love this thread, got me nostalgia for the old days. I still got a stash of DASH from back when it was Xcoin, anyone else still holding on to some of these retro coins?"

"Lol, you gotta bring up Nxt (now Ardor). That project had some sick ideas at the time, but I guess they couldn't pull off the transition to their own blockchain. Still got a soft spot for their 'asset' concept though"

"Who else remembers Bytecoin? They had a sick anonymity feature back in the days. Still holding onto a few BCN, hoping it'll moon again"

Yeah, I was digging through old wallets the other day and stumbled upon some old NXT coins, still worth a few bucks apparently. Anyone else have any old cryptos just chillin' in their vaults? Would love to see some revival momentum for those projects that got left behind.

"Love this thread, it's crazy how some of these old projects almost made it big. I was really stoked on Waves back in the day, thought it was gonna disrupt the whole DeFi scene, but they never quite took off. Still got a soft spot for 'em, though"

"Preach! I still gotta respect the OGs like Maidsafe and Namecoin - they laid the groundwork for decentralized storage and naming systems. Their impact may be muted now, but their influence is still felt in projects like IPFS and ENS"

"Haha, I completely agree with you OP, I've been digging through old forums and finding some crazy concepts. I mean, have you guys seen the old Ethereum whitepaper from 2013? They were talking about a full-fledged Turing complete smart contract platform back then"
