Yo fellow devs, I've been wondering this for a while - is it realistic for a noob (someone with little to no experience) to secure a $100k white hat gig? I've seen some stories of people getting in on the ground floor and making bank, but I'm not convinced that's the norm. Can someone share some insight or personal experience on this?

"Dude, it's definitely possible, but you gotta put in the work. I started as a noob and landed a $20k gig within 6 months, and that was with minimal experience. $100k would be tough, but not impossible if you're willing to put in the time and learn."

"Dude, it's doable, but you gotta put in the work. I was a noob myself not too long ago, but I spent countless hours learning, networking, and building my portfolio. Now I'm getting gigs in the low-six figures, not $100k, but it's a start"

"Dude, as a noob, getting a $100k white hat gig is a pipe dream. You gotta put in the work, learn the basics, and then some. I'd say 2-3 years of experience and a solid portfolio before you can even think about landing a gig like that."

"Real talk, a noob can get their foot in the door, but $100k gigs usually require some serious skills and experience. I'd say aim for $50k-$75k as a starting point, and then build from there. Don't be afraid to learn and take on smaller projects to gain some street cred."
