"I just had a nasty RDP security breach on my home PC and I'm still trying to pick up the pieces. My login credentials were compromised and the hacker even managed to install some crypto malware (luckily, it got blocked by my antivirus software). Has anyone else experienced something similar? Should I just stick with a VPN or look into other security solutions?"

"Yo, guys I'm all about using VPNs for RDP connections. They're cheap and easy to set up, and most decent VPNs have 256-bit encryption so you're pretty safe. Just make sure to pick a reputable one with a strong no-logs policy."

"Got hit by a RDP brute force attack a few months ago. Ended up setting up a VPN server and connecting to it via 2FA to add an extra layer of security. So far, been smooth sailing."

"Yup, VPNs can help mask your IP and add an extra layer of security, but if your RDP credentials are weak, you're still at risk. I'd recommend using a 2FA like Google Authenticator or even a hardware token in addition to a VPN for max security. Anyone tried using WireGuard or a similar alternative for their VPN?"

"Yea, using a VPN alone ain't enough. I'd recommend setting up a 2FA and MFA on your RDP sessions, and also use a reputable endpoint security software to scan for malware. It's always better to be extra safe than sorry."

"Dude, I think RDP has had it in for a while now. I'm actually switching to SSH2, it's encrypted by default and way more secure than RDP. Anyone else made the jump?"

"I've been using a VPN for my RDP sessions and so far, it's been secure. I've also considered using WireGuard for extra encryption, but haven't had any issues yet. Anyone else using a VPN or another method to secure their RDP?"

"TBH, I've been using WireGuard since I heard about the breach. It's way more secure than traditional VPNs and it's free, too. Has anyone else switched to WG for their RDP connections?"

"Lol, you guys think VPNs are enough? I'd rather use a Hardware VPN like a router with NordVPN support - it's like a fortress for my RDP connections"

"Hey guys, I've been using a VPN + SSH tunnel for my RDP sessions, seems to be working pretty well so far. Anyone else tried WireGuard? I've heard it's fast and secure."
