Title: RAGEQUIT: Is the Rise of ASICs the Death of Community Mining?

"I'm just gonna say it - ASICs have ruined mining for me and countless others. They've created a barrier to entry that's basically insurmountable for anyone who isn't a big-time investor. How can we expect to have a vibrant community of miners if the only ones who can profit are the ones with deep pockets for hardware?"

"Totally agree with OP, ASICs are killing community mining. I remember when I first started mining with my trusty GPU rig, it was a tight-knit community where we all looked out for each other. Now it's just a bunch of high-end rigs sucking up all the hashrate, leaving us small-time miners in the dust"

"100% agree, ASICs have killed community mining for most of us. I've seen my old NVIDIA rigs collecting dust since the Bitcoin halving. Community mining is now just a distant memory, it's all about the pros with their high-powered rigs and deep pockets."

"Yup, I'm feeling the pain too. Community mining was what got a lot of us into crypto in the first place, but now it's just not viable with the power consumption and cost of competing with those massive ASIC rigs. Time for me to cash out and get out of the way"

"yup, i think it's a pretty harsh reality for solo miners and small-scale operations. the rise of ASICs has definitely made it more challenging for individuals to compete with large-scale mining ops. now it's either go big or go home, sadly."

"Yaaas, I'm with OP on this one. The rise of ASICs has basically made community mining obsolete, and I'm so done with the centralization. It's time for devs to come up with new solutions that make mining more accessible and community-driven again"
