"Dude, just wanna say - a hardware wallet is still the way to go. You can't put a price on having your private keys offline. Anyone have any good experiences with Yubikeys or Ledger Live?"

"Great thread! One thing I always emphasize to new investors is to use 2FA (two-factor authentication) whenever possible and never, ever share your recovery seed or private keys with anyone. It's just not worth the risk, fam."

"Yooo, great thread op. For me, the most important self-defense tip is enabling 2FA on all my crypto exchanges and wallets. Anyone else use a hardware wallet for extra security?"

"Lol at 'essential self-defense tips' - isn't that a bit of an oxymoron? I'm more concerned about 2FA and keeping my seeds safe than dodging phishing attempts. Anyone have some actual security advice to share?"

"Dude, I think the most underrated tip is using a hardware wallet. I had a situation where I used to store my coins on an exchange and got robbed via phishing, but since switching to a Ledger, I feel way more secure. Has anyone else had a similar experience?"

"Yup, I've been saying this for ages - enabling 2FA (two-factor authentication) is a must when it comes to crypto security. Don't even get me started on using strong, unique passwords for each exchange/wallet, guys. It's better to be safe than sorry and risk getting hacked"

"I'm all about using 2FA and seed phrase backups, can't stress enough how important they are. I also like to store a portion of my coins in a cold storage wallet to keep them safe from hackers. Anyone else use hardware wallets?"

"Yo, can't stress enough how crucial it is to set up 2FA on all your exchanges and wallets. Don't even get me started on using strong, unique passwords for each account. If you haven't already, make sure you're using a hardware wallet too."
