What's up guys, I've been seeing some debate online about the terms 'podcast' and 'audiobook', and I think it's time we discuss the difference here. To me, podcasts are more like radio shows or interviews on topics like finance, tech, or even true crime, while audiobooks are more like full-length novels or non-fiction books read out loud. Can anyone else break down the difference for us?

"Lol, gotta ask, is this a trick question? To me, it's all about the production quality and content - if it's a scripted show with guests, it's a podcast, if it's just someone reading a book aloud, it's an audiobook. Either way, as long as it's engaging, who cares what you call it?"

"I've personally never really been a fan of paid audiobooks, but I've been listening to a lot of podcasts lately. For me, the big difference is that podcasts are usually free and have a more dynamic, conversational feel to them. Podcasts feel more like a community thing."
