What's good fam? I'm kicking off this thread for anyone looking to build a gaming beast for Garry's Mod. I'll be going for around a 4K gaming experience, so I'll be recommending some top-notch components for a smooth experience, but feel free to chime in with your budget and specs in mind!

"Lowkey agree on the i9, tho that's a heavy price tag. Would recommend an RTX 3070 or 3080 for smooth Gmod gameplay. Anyone using an Intel CPU with NVIDIA? Any noticeable lag?"

"Lol @ 'sick gaming PC', bro! For Garry's Mod, you don't need the most insane specs, but I'd recommend a mid-range CPU like the Ryzen 5 5600X and some 16gb of DDR4 RAM. A GTX 1660 Super or RX 5600 XT would also do the trick for decent FPS."

"Dude, for Garry's Mod, you won't need anything too crazy, a mid-range build should do just fine. I'd say go for an AMD Ryzen 5 or i5 Intel CPU, pair it with 16 GB of RAM and a 5600 XT or RTX 3060 GPU, that should handle it no problem."
