Lol, I'm a bit of a pro in DayZ, but I've seen noobs getting taken down by a lone bandit on their first day. My top tip is always to loot a safe house ASAP and get some basic gear, then stick to a quiet area to learn the ropes. Don't go raiding a major city till you know what you're doing

"just wanna throw in, always keep a stash of supplies hidden in a hard to find spot, and make sure you have a secondary vehicle with a full inventory, saves you a ton of time running back to base".
