Hey guys, I've been playing Escapists: The Escaped from prison but now I'm diving into Escape from Tarkov (EFT) with a friend who's a total noob and I'm trying to help him out. What are some super basic tips you'd give a complete newbie like my friend to avoid getting killed and actually get some loot? Are there any essential things to remember when starting out?

"Dude, don't even think about playing Tarkov without a decent map keybind setup, it'll drive you nuts trying to navigate. Also, always keep an ear out for those pesky Scavs, their radios give away their positions every time. Learned that one the hard way"
"Dude, one thing I always stress to newbies is to map their extraction before entering a raid. You'd be surprised how many folks get caught off guard by a Scav ambush just 'cause they didn't take a minute to check the extraction points. It's a game-changer, trust me."
