"Lol what's up guys, just got back into crypto after a brief hiatus and I'm loving the resurgence of altcoins. If I'm investing in a specific coin, what's the standard protocol for verifying if it's legit or not? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks"

"Hey, just a heads up for the newbies, always do your own research before investing in any coin. Don't believe the FUD or hype from random forums, do your own analysis and stay informed. Also, have a good understanding of the project's whitepaper and roadmap"

"Noob alert I've heard of people trying to mine with old laptops, but honestly, it's a waste of time and power unless you've got a crazy powerful rig. If you're new to crypto, I'd say focus on learning the basics and investing in a solid wallet before jumping into mining or buying up expensive hardware."

"Hey OP, I'd say another question we get a lot is about the difference between decentralized and centralized exchanges. Most newbies don't understand why you'd use a DEFI platform over a CeFi one, when in reality it's usually about fees and personal choice."
