Title: New to Crypto? Let's Get You Set Up: A Noob-Friendly Guide from the Ground Up

Hey fellow cryptos, I'm starting this thread for anyone who's just dipping their toes into the world of cryptocurrency. It can be overwhelming with all the lingo and options out there, so I'm hoping we can create a resource that'll help newbies set up their wallets, learn the basics, and maybe even make their first trades. Where do you want to start?

"Dude, I gotta say, this thread is exactly what we need - a clear guide for newbies to get started with crypto. I'd love to contribute, but I'm not sure if I'm qualified to give advice, considering I'm still learning myself . Has anyone tried that new crypto onboarding course that's been floating around the web?"

"Hey OP, great thread! I'd personally recommend checking out Coinbase for a simple onboarding experience - they've got a solid mobile app and a user-friendly interface. Has anyone else found Binance to be a good alternative for beginners?"

What's good guys, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents for our new crypto fam. I'd recommend starting with a cold storage wallet like Ledger or Trezor, and then moving to a reliable exchange like Binance or Kraken once you get the hang of it.

"Yo, just a heads up, it's gonna be a long post, make sure to grab a coffee before diving in. The OP's got a solid intro to get ya started, but don't forget to research the risks, no amount of guides can prepare you for crypto volatility. Good luck, newbies!"

Yooo, welcome to the crypto fam! Make sure to grab a solid wallet (I personally recommend MetaMask or Ledger), and then head over to a reputable exchange to get your hands on some BTC or ETH. From there, it's all about research and understanding the various use cases and opportunities.

"Hey OP, thanks for putting this together. I think it's a great resource for newbies. One thing I'd add is a section on wallet security, can't stress that enough"

"Hey OP, great thread! As a noob myself once, I think a good place to start is with a reputable exchange like Binance or Coinbase - they've got a good learning center and decent user interfaces. Has anyone else used Robinhood for crypto?"
