Just heard that the M1 Chip experienced some unexpected throttling - anyone else hearing about this? Apparently this affects the entire M1 lineup, not just the new M1 Ultra. This has huge implications for Apple's CPU future, so let's get the discussion started.

"Dude, this M1 issue is a major concern, but I'm not panicking just yet. Apple's usually quick to adapt and they've had a great track record with their chip designs. We'll see how they address this, but it's gonna be interesting"

"Dude, I'm not surprised by this news at all, Apple's been overpromising and underdelivering on CPU upgrades for a while now. The M1 chip was a game-changer, but if they can't get the M2 right, there's gonna be a lot of questions about their engineering strategy. Any thoughts on how this affects the AR/VR rumors?"

"heard the M1 chip had some thermal issues, not exactly a speed bump but more like a design flaw. Apple's usually got this stuff down cold, hope they get it sorted ASAP. anyone have any info on the rumored M2 update?"
