Title: Lost in the Ether: A Beginner's Guide to Getting Started with Crypto

Hey guys, I've seen a lot of threads on here about advanced crypto topics, but I think there's a lack of beginner-friendly content. I'm excited to start this thread and share my own journey of learning about crypto, from downloading my first wallet to buying my first coin. Where should we start - should I share a step-by-step guide or get some general questions out of the way first?

"Great thread OP! For anyone new to crypto, I'd say start with learning the basics of blockchain and how it works. Then, set up a secure wallet and grab a small amount of Bitcoin or a Stablecoin to get familiar with the market"

"Hey OP, I think I can help. I've had friends just start with Coinbase, they make it super easy to get into crypto. From there, you can experiment with other exchanges and wallets once you get the basics down."

"Hey op, I've gotta say, this is probably one of the most beginner-friendly guides I've seen so far. I'm actually thinking of creating a similar thread for altcoins, anyone interested?"

"Lol, y'all are gonna start beginners off right with this thread. I'd recommend checking out Coinbase or Binance for your first exchange, super user-friendly and secure. Also, don't even get me started on the importance of a hardware wallet, you gotta safeguard that crypto"

"Lol, just found out about this thread! I was actually planning on writing a similar guide for newbies. Anyone know if we could collaborate on this instead of duplicating effort?"
