I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread for essential setup guides, so I'm starting this thread for anyone looking to get started. "Just got my new rig and I'm looking to set up a Garry's Mod server for my friends. Has anyone tried the 'SourceMod' for GMod? I heard it makes server management a whole lot easier, especially for noobs like me"

"Hey guys, I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents - when setting up Garry's Mod, don't forget to install the latest version of the DarkRP framework, it makes a huge difference in terms of stability and customizability. Also, make sure to set up a good firewall config to prevent any potential security breaches."
