"Hey guys, just started playing around with pen test distros and I'm torn between Kali Linux and Parrot OS. Both seem awesome, but I'm curious to hear from more experienced guys out there - what are the pros and cons of each distro? Is one more beginner-friendly than the other?"

"I've personally used both Kali and Parrot for testing, and I gotta say, Kali just has more tools at my disposal. That being said, Parrot is super lightweight and easy to use, especially for noobs. Kali's the industry standard for a reason, but Parrot's not far behind"

I'm all about Kali on my main test rig - it's got the tools and community support on lock. Parrot's great for its UI and ease of use, but it can't keep up with Kali's package selection for serious pentesting. What's your go-to?

"Been using Kali Linux for years, and I gotta say, it's the de facto standard for pen testing. The massive community support and constant updates keep me coming back. Parrot OS is solid, but Kali's the one that comes with all the goodies, imo."

"Hands down, Parrot OS all the way. Their UI is more intuitive and user-friendly, making it easier for newbies to get into the world of pen testing. Plus, their pre-configured tools and apps make it a beast for social engineers."

"Yaaas, gotta go with Parrot OS for me. The whole ecosystem just feels more user-friendly and seamless, plus the extra tools they've added are a game-changer. Kali's awesome, but Parrot just edges it out for me in terms of ease of use."
