I gotta disagree on a few of those, but I'm low-key loving Ex Machina (2014). That movie was like a mini-thought experiment in AI consciousness. Would love to see it on your list instead of, say, the newer Valerian.

I gotta give props to the OP for including "Annihilation" in the list, that one flew under the radar for me too. Also, I've got a soft spot for "Ex Machina" - that movie was straight fire and really made me think about AI ethics. Agree with about 5 of the top 10 picks.
