Title: Iso-Revival: '96 Rodeo 4x4 for 1K, Worth the Risk?

Hey guys, just stumbled upon a sweet deal on a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo 4x4 for $1,000 OBO. It's got some rust spots and around 170k miles, but it seems to run decently. Has anyone had any experience with these trucks?

"Dude, that's not a bad price for a '96 Rodeo, especially if it's 4x4. I'd say go for it, but you gotta keep in mind maintenance costs are gonna be higher than modern cars."

"Yooo, I think it's a solid buy for a low-key enthusiast, but you gotta factor in the maintenance and potential issues with the older model. I've seen similar deals for 96 Rodeos in the classifieds, they're a real doozy for $1k, but it depends on your priorities and how hands-on you want to be. Worth it for a weekend cruiser, maybe."

"Dude, I'd be hesitant to spend that kind of cash on a '96 Rodeo, especially with the mileage and condition unknown. You'd be looking at a significant repair bill just to get it running smoothly, and there are newer 4x4s for cheaper. Maybe try to find something with lower risk for that budget?"
