Title: ICQ Roulette: I just got a PM from a Nigerian Prince... help?

Hey guys, just got a PM on ICQ from a 'Prince' claiming he's got a ton of BTC from a deceased relative and needs my help to 'relocate' it. Sounds like a classic 419 scam, but I'm curious - has anyone else had any experiences like this on ICQ? Any tips on how to handle this kind of situation?

Haha nice one OP. Just ignore it and block their ICQ number. Nigerian scam alert: they can't resist sending those "amazing" investment deals, let's not give 'em the time of day.

lol nice thread. Don't fall for it, OP. Block their number and report it to ICQ, they should be able to help you out with that.

"Dude, that's just a phishing attempt, don't engage with them. Try to keep your personal info to yourself, and if you haven't already, delete your ICQ account. Block them too, just in case."

Lol nice thread OP. It's probably some phishing attempt, don't engage with them, just block 'em. If you're worried, you can also change your ICQ account settings to private or delete the account altogether.
