Title: I2P in 2023: Still Relevant or Dead in the Water?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone's still using I2P (Invisible Internet Project) lately? I remember it being super hyped back in the day, but I haven't heard much about it in the past year or so. Is it still worth exploring?

I still think I2P is super relevant, especially with the rise of surveillance capitalism. It's a shame more devs aren't working on it, but I appreciate the community keeping it alive. Has anyone noticed any significant projects or developments in the past year?

"Personally, I think I2P still has its use cases, especially for privacy-focused users and those in countries with heavily censored internet. It's definitely not as mainstream as Tor, but it's still a solid option for those who value anonymity. Anyone else still using it?"

"I'm still digging I2P, it's got some great potential for anon net usage, but it's def taken a backseat to the likes of Tor and VPNs for the more casual users. That being said, I2P's focus on P2P and decentralized networks still makes it a solid choice for those who want a more private alternative to the standard net. It's just not as user-friendly as some of the newer options."

"I've been experimenting with I2P for a bit now, and while the speed isn't ideal, I think it's still worth using for certain use cases, like private messaging and file sharing. It's not as flashy as some other anonymity solutions, but it's been around for a while and has a loyal community backing it. Not dead in the water yet, imo."

"I've been playing around with I2P for a while now, and tbh, it's not as user-friendly as I'd like. However, the anonymity and decentralized nature still make it a solid choice for those in, shall we say, 'high-risk' online activities. Definitely still got its niche, but not for the general public imo."

"Dude, I2P still has its niche. Not as mainstream as some other anon networks, but it's solid and has a low profile, which is exactly what some people are looking for. Still worth keeping an eye on, IMO."

"Still think I2P is a solid option for p2p anon browsing, but it's definitely not as mainstream as it was in the early 2010s. Been using it for years and it's always been reliable, even if it's not as user-friendly as some other anon tools. Has anyone else had issues with it recently?"
