I'm still trying to get my foot in the door, but I heard from a friend that having a strong online presence (e.g. a solid crypto blog or GitHub) can make a big difference in showing your expertise and getting noticed by potential employers. Congrats to the OP on the new gig! Wasn't me, but I did manage to land an internship at a decentralized finance firm last year. Had to learn a lot, but it was a sick experience that helped me build my network and portfolio.
