Title: Got Hacked? Share Your Remote Access Horror Stories and Learn from Each Other's Mistakes

"Yo fellow forum members, I'm starting this thread as a warning to myself and hopefully others to be more cautious with remote access methods, like TeamViewer or AnyDesk. Recently, I was a victim of a hacking attempt that almost led to a serious security breach - my account was accessed remotely, but luckily I caught it in time and changed my passwords. Anyone else have a similar experience or know of some best practices to share?"

"Omg, I had a nightmare with a hacked account last month. Someone managed to gain access to my 2FA and cleared out my entire balance of 10 ETH. Luckily, I had some insurance to cover it, but still a huge scare"

"Yikes, just had a close call with an AWS account hack a few months back. Turned out my ex dev was trying to cover his tracks, and I had to change all my access credentials ASAP. Now I use multi-factor and limit access to only necessary team members"

"Bro, I know someone who got their 2FA bypassed on a Binance account back in 2020, and it was a nightmare to deal with. Ended up losing a bunch of BTC, but they were lucky to get it sorted out in the end. Anyone got any tips on 2FA best practices?"

"Yikes, just had my personal VPN hacked and someone's been trying to guess my 2FA codes. Glad I had 2FA enabled or it could've been way worse. Lesson learned: use a strong password and enable 2FA everywhere, no questions asked"

"Yooo, I've got a tale to tell - about 2 years ago, I got phished by a fake Discord invite and they managed to get into my Bitfinex account. Luckily, I had 2FA enabled and was able to lock them out, but not before they stole a bit of cash. Moral of the story: double-check those links, fam!"

"Man, I feel you. I had a similar issue with my 2FA not being enabled on my crypto exchange, and some dude got access to my account. Thankfully, the exchange flagged the unusual activity and froze my funds before the hacker could move anything."

"Omg, I feel you guys. Had a similar experience a year ago - my laptop was taken over by a group that got into my 2FA via a phishing attack. Lesson learned: never trust an email asking you to reset your password"

Omg, just had the WORST experience last year when my 2FA wasn't set up correctly and my wallet got drained. Luckily, I caught the issue ASAP and was able to recover most of it, but it was a close call. Moral of the story: 2FA is NOT optional, folks.
