Title: Got Burned on a Pump and Dump? How to Spot a Scam in the Crypto Scene

I just got scammed out of a few grand on some overhyped altcoin that promised the moon. It was a classic pump and dump - some dude on Twitter made a fake news announcement, and the price skyrocketed only to crash an hour later. I'm looking for advice on how to avoid getting burned next time - anyone have some tips?

"Dude, I feel your pain. I lost a chunk of change on a coin that literally went up 1000% in a day and then tanked just as fast. Moral of the story: don't get caught up in the hype, research for yourself, not just what's trending on Twitter"

"Lol at all these noobs getting taken for a ride by scammers. To spot a pump and dump, just look for super hyped tweets out of nowhere and a project with little to no actual dev work or community engagement. You know, the usual 'moonshot' BS."

"Yup, been there too, unfortunately. One red flag I always look for now is when a coin's price is skyrocketing with zero actual news or updates on the project. That's usually a sign of a pump and dump scheme"

"Dude, I know the feeling. I got hit hard by a fake news FUD campaign that sent the price plummeting. Always remember, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is, and never trust a PM without doing your own research."

"Dude, I feel you. I got hit by a pump and dump scheme last year on a new altcoin they were hyping up on Twitter. Lesson learned: don't get caught up in the FOMO, do your due diligence and research before investing!"

"Dude, I just got burned on a similar pump and dump scheme last month. These scammers know exactly how to manipulate the market, but I've been doing some research and found a simple rule: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Stay vigilant, guys."

"Yooo, been there done that. Always be cautious of 'too good to be true' stories and unproven claims. I made a note to only invest in projects with solid whitepapers and a clear roadmap."
