"Hey guys, I'm super interested in learning more about smart contracts, especially on Ethereum. I've been researching for a bit, but I'm still trying to figure out where to start - I don't have any experience with Solidity or coding in general. Has anyone got any tips on the basics, or where I should start reading up?"

"Yeah, smart contracts can be intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of Solidity and Truffle Suite, it's a breeze. I'd recommend starting with the official Ethereum Developer Documentation and working your way up to some of the popular tutorials like BuildSpace or Smart Contract Summit. Anyone have a recommended resource for beginners?"

"Just wanted to chime in and say that the OpenZeppelin library is super helpful for new devs getting started with smart contract development on Ethereum. It's got a ton of pre-built contracts and tools to make life easier. Has anyone else had experience with it?"

"Hey OP, I've been following your thread and think you're doing a solid job breaking down the basics of smart contracts on Ethereum. Have you considered using Remix IDE for development? It's a pretty user-friendly choice for beginners"

"Hey guys, I've been experimenting with smart contracts on Ethereum for a while now and I gotta say, Remix is a great tool to get started with, especially for beginners. It's got a user-friendly interface and you can deploy your contracts on the Ropsten test net without having to worry about gas fees. Anyone else using it?"
