"Hey guys, I'm curious - have you ever stumbled upon a unique freelance gig opportunity that paid surprisingly well? I recently saw an ad for creating custom blockchain-based video games for a corporate client, and I'm thinking of giving it a shot. What are some of the craziest freelance gigs you've come across?"

"Yooo, what's up guys? I've been doing some freelance web dev on the side, creating NFT-powered interactive websites for artists and musicians. Just got paid $2k for a project, anyone else having success with this kind of stuff?"

"Dude, I'm loving the thread. I've actually dipped my toes into creating NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and selling them online. It's not exactly a get-rich-quick scheme, but it's a legit way to monetize your art skills and unique ideas."

I've found success with creating and selling pre-made cryptocurrency trading bots on platforms like GitHub or Upwork. You can get decent pay for a well-coded bot, and with the right marketing, you can get repeat clients. It's definitely not a traditional gig, but it's an interesting side hustle.

"Not saying this is for everyone, but I know a guy who's making bank on online chess tournaments He streams his gameplay on Twitch, gets sponsored by chess gear brands, and even offers lessons to noobs. Not exactly the norm, but it's a gig he's built around."
