"Hey guys, just had an epiphany about Skype's encryption. As we all know, it's been pretty weak in the past, and I was just wondering if they'll ever catch up with the likes of Signal or Wire. Does anyone know if they're making any serious moves to upgrade their encryption?

Yikes, I'm starting to think you're right - Skype's encryption has been lagging behind for ages. I mean, Signal and Telegram have been way ahead of the curve all this time, and we're still using Skype for legit business calls. Guess it's time to switch to a more secure option, tbh.
