"Just wondering which route to take when it comes to staying off the grid online. I'm looking to surf the web, stream some torrents, and communicate with friends without being tracked by the man in the black helicopter. I2P, Tor, or VPN - which one's the most secure and reliable choice?"

"Dude, I gotta say, none of 'em are foolproof, but Tor's been around long enough to have a solid rep. I've used I2P too, but it's always laggin' in my experience. VPN's a good temp fix, but it's not as secure as a true anon network like Tor."
