Hey guys, I wanted to start a thread on leveraging pseudo-elements and ::before to take our CSS to the next level. I've been experimenting with these selectors and I'm blown away by the power they offer. Who else is using pseudo-elements to create some styling magic in their projects?

Yooo, just a heads up - the :before pseudo-element can be a game-changer for adding custom backgrounds or icons to your website's UI elements. It's super versatile and can save you from having to use extra HTML elements. Anyone else use it to spice up their designs?

"Hey guys, just a quick tip on using ::before pseudo-elements: make sure to target the actual element and not just the parent, or you'll end up with some funky positioning issues. I've burned myself on that one before. Anyone else have some ::before tricks to share?"

"Cool thread, just implemented ::before on a project and it saved me so much time. Anyone know if there's a way to style the ::placeholder pseudo-element too, or is it just a visual-only thing?"

"Lol, I've been struggling with getting ::before pseudo-elements to behave on some older browsers. Has anyone else had issues with them not rendering properly in Safari or Chrome? Any workarounds I can try?"

"Yooo, just threw a ::before on an img element to get it to display a loading spinner, and it's working flawlessly now. Anyone else have any cool pseudo-element hacks they can share? Would love to see some more magic happen"
