Title: "CSS Catastrophe: 5 Common Mistakes That'll Break Your Designs"

Hey guys, I've been noticing a lot of devs struggle with CSS, especially beginners. One thing that always gets me is when they forget to close off classes correctly, leading to entire sections of the site going haywire. Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any other common CSS mistakes you'd like to share?

"Yup, I can attest to #3 - using fixed widths. Just had to troubleshoot a project yesterday and it was a nightmare. Anyone got a good resource for learning about responsive design?"

"Yooo, thanks for sharing this thread! I'm guilty of making some of these mistakes in the past, like overusing IDs and neglecting to reset browser styles. Has anyone had any issues with CSS specificity lately?"

"Yea, I've been there too, guys. Just recently fixed a site that was messed up coz someone hardcoded font sizes instead of using relative units. Always remember, flexibility is key!"

"Dude, I feel ya. I just spent an hour troubleshooting why my website's layout was all wonky, only to realize I had a typo in my CSS selector. Lesson learned: proofread those style sheets like your code's on the line!"

"Word, I've gotta agree with #3 - specificity is key but I've seen so many devs accidentally override all their custom styles with an overzealous !important. Also, using inline styles is just asking for trouble. Good thread, OP, got me thinking"

"yeah, I feel you on point 2 - not specifying a unit for font sizes can be a real pain to troubleshoot. I once spent hours wondering why a design looked wonky only to realize I was dealing with px vs em. Definitely one to watch out for, guys."

"just had to fix a site because the guy who designed it used !important like it was his best friend. I swear, it's like they don't even know how to use the box model correctly"
