"Just started learning web development and I'm looking to dabble in PHP. Trying to decide on the best framework for a beginner, I've heard great things about Laravel and CodeIgniter - which one of these two would you recommend for a web app from scratch? Are there any other PHP frameworks worth considering?"

"Lol, gotta agree with @cryptodude, CodeIgniter is a great choice for beginners. It's lightweight and easy to learn, perfect for creating web apps quickly. Have anyone tried Laravel yet, worth the steep curve for its features and flexibility?"

"Yooo, fam! I'm a huge fan of Laravel, it's a beast of a framework that makes dev a breeze, especially for beginners. But if you're looking for something a bit more lightweight, CodeIgniter's also a great option."

"Can't go wrong with Laravel, imo. It's a solid choice for beginners - lots of documentation and a huge community to fall back on. I also had a good experience with CodeIgniter, but it's a bit more lightweight."
