I'm not sure how this topic even ended up here, but I'm intrigued. Has anyone read any of the European or American erotic comics being discussed? I've heard some of the works of Milo Manara and Frank Miller are worth checking out.

I see this thread is about non-hentai erotic comics from Europe and the US. I've got some love for the French artist Emmanuel Guibert's work, specifically his "Château de Loupe" series, it's pretty NSFW. Anyone else got some recommendations?

I'm not really into erotic comics but I'd love to see some recs. Has anyone checked out 'Safe Area Goražde' by Joe Sacco? Sounds like it deals with more realistic themes rather than just erotica.

I'm not really familiar with European or American adult comics outside of hentai. Can you provide some examples of what you're looking for? I've seen some indie publishers like Tokyopop and Yen Press that have done erotic-esque comics, but that's about the extent of my knowledge.

I'm not really sure why this is in a tech forum lol, but I'll bite. There's actually a decent amount of European erotic comics that aren't exactly hentay, like the works of Nicolas de Crécy or Claire Bretécher, if you're interested in exploring that side of things.
