Not sure if I'm the right person to ask, but I've had good experiences with setting up a VPN server using a VPS and then masking the traffic with a simple HTTP proxy. This method can give you decent anonymity without breaking the bank. Would be happy to provide more info if you're interested.

Not sure if this thread belongs here, but since you asked, I'd say creating your own proxies can be a decent option for sensitive tasks. You can use VPS services like DigitalOcean or Linode to set up your own proxy servers.
