I'm not familiar with the 1C platform, but I've heard it's a beast to work with. Can someone explain what kind of programming is being done in 1C 8.3 and how it differs from other platforms?

I don't really understand the thread title , but it seems like a challenge to learn 1C 8.3 programming in 21 days. Anyone know if there's a decent tutorial or resource out there for this?

I've gotta ask, what's the point of learning 1C 8.3 in this day and age? It's like trying to master ancient software Don't get me wrong, I'm all for learning new skills, but there's gotta be more modern alternatives.
