Title: What's Your Take on Linux for the Average User?

I'm low-key a Linux fanboy, but I gotta question whether it's worth the steep learning curve for the average user. I mean, sure, it's free and super customizable, but some of the distros can be straight-up confusing for noobs. Has anyone here made the switch and thought it was worth it?

I think Linux is perfect for power users who enjoy tinkering, but for the average user, it can be a bit overwhelming. I mean, who needs to mess with terminal commands when they just want to watch YouTube? Windows or macOS still reign supreme for simplicity and ease of use in my book.

Honestly, I think Linux is still a bit too complex for the average user, especially when it comes to setting up and troubleshooting. I've tried distros like Ubuntu and Mint with my non-tech friends, but they still struggle to get used to the interface and system settings.

Honestly, I think Linux is still a bit too steep of a learning curve for the average user. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's an awesome OS, but it requires some technical know-how to set up and troubleshoot. If you're not comfortable with the command line, you might find it frustrating.
