"Lowkey weird thinking about how advanced our phones have gotten. I mean, if my phone is basically a mini computer with a blockchain under the hood, why am I still sending basic texts? Doesn't it feel like we're stuck in ancient times, sending digital messages with an 'I'm here' emoji, when we could be sending self-sovereign digital tokens instead?"

"Bro, I see what you're saying, but texting still has its use cases for real-time p2p comms. Plus, imagine if all our messages got locked in an immutable ledger, no edits or deletions allowed . That's just a recipe for a whole lot of drama"

Honestly, texting is still a thing because not everyone needs to be all crypto-secure 24/7, and for those moments of normalcy, a simple text is easier. Plus, let's be real, a phone call or video call is even more convenient than sending a text, but those are a whole different level of invasive. I can see the point, but I think most people prefer simplicity over added security.
