Title: What's the future of Miranda IM: Revival or RIP?

I've been a fan of Miranda IM since the old AIM days, and it's sad to see it's been largely abandoned. Anyone know if the devs are still working on it or if it's finally time to say goodbye? I'm still using it for work, but I'd love to know if there are any updates on the horizon.

I think Miranda IM still has its niche market, especially for those who need a lightweight IM client for smaller systems. It's a pity that the developers haven't updated it in a while, but I'm sure there are still some die-hard fans out there keeping the spirit alive. Maybe someone will fork the project and give it a revival?

"Dude, I'm still holding on to Miranda IM on my old XP box for nostalgic reasons, but to be honest, it's been dead for ages. I think it's more RIP than revival at this point. Does anyone know if there are any forks or replacements that can replicate the same functionality?"

Honestly, I'm not surprised it's still around, but I don't see it picking up again. With everyone switching to Discord and other VoIP apps, Miranda IM just doesn't seem relevant anymore. Unless the devs can come up with a game-changer, it's probably time to say RIP.

"Dude, haven't used Miranda IM in ages, but I do remember it being a solid choice back in the day. It's a shame they didn't keep up with the times, but I'm not sure if a revival would be possible even with a community-driven effort. RIP, indeed."

"Honestly, I think Miranda IM has had its day. It's a classic, but with the rise of WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord, it's hard to see it making a huge comeback. Maybe a revamped version with modern features, but revival as is?"

"Dude, I'm still rocking Miranda IM in 2023 - it's an oldie but a goldie. I don't see any reason to switch to newer IM clients like Pidgin or Adium, as Miranda's got all the essential features and it's still super lightweight. Bring on the revival, I say!"
