Title: Web3 DBs vs Traditional RDBMS: What's the Future of Data Storage?

"Hey guys, with all the hype around Web3 and blockchain tech, I've been wondering - are traditional RDBMS (Relational DB Management Systems) still the way to go for data storage, or are new Web3 DBs like IPFS and others about to disrupt the game? I've seen some promising use cases for decentralized data storage, but I'm curious to know what the community thinks about the trade-offs between scalability, security, and decentralization."

"Y'all gotta consider scalability when deciding between Web3 DBs and traditional RDBMS. Sharding on Web3 platforms like BigQuery or FaunaDB can handle huge data sets, but traditional RDBMS like MySQL and PostgreSQL are tried and true. Still, Web3 is innovating fast, so it's an exciting space to watch."

"Personally, I think Web3 DBs like Cosmos-SDK's Tendermint and Ethereum's IPFS have a lot of potential, especially for decentralized apps where data integrity and trustless transactions are key. However, for traditional enterprise use cases, I still think RDBMS has a strong hold - until we see more widespread adoption and scalability improvements. Anyone have thoughts on the current state of Web3 DBs?"
