Title: Warning Signs: When Is It Time to Fire an Underperforming Employee?

Hey fellow entrepreneurs and managers, I'm having a tough time deciding whether to cut ties with an underperforming team member or give them a second chance. We've had issues with missed deadlines, unprofessional behavior, and a general lack of engagement in team meetings. Has anyone else faced a similar problem - when do you know it's time to say goodbye?

"Not saying this is the case for anyone here, but in the crypto space, I'd say it's more like firing a failing project or partnership. When your team's skills aren't scaling with the company, it's time to reassess. Can't have your dev team stuck in the last iteration of Solidity, ya feel me?"

"Personally, I think it's when their underperformance is directly affecting the team or impacting the company's bottom line. If an employee is consistently missing deadlines or not meeting their goals, it's time to have a tough conversation. Anything less, and it's just enabling."

"Imo, it's way more complicated than just pointing out some warning signs. Every situation's unique, and I've seen cases where 'underperforming' employees just needed some guidance or a change in management style. Before you pull the trigger, take a step back and try to understand what's really going on."
