"Just upgraded my rig with a mid-range Nvidia RTX 3060, and I'm wondering if it's worth using for crypto mining. I'm currently mining Ethereum, but I'm not sure if my GPU is underutilized or if it's actually worth the power draw. Has anyone else had success with mid-range GPUs for mining, or is it still a case of 'you get what you pay for'?"

"Honestly, I'd say a mid-range GPU can still give you some decent crypto mining power, but you're limited to the more energy-efficient coins. I've seen people get a decent ROI with mid-range cards like the NVIDIA RTX 3060 or AMD RX 6700 XT, but it depends on the market and your electricity costs. Just don't expect to break any records with a budget GPU"

"Hey guys, I just upgraded my rig with a mid-range RX 6600 XT and I'm surprised by how well it holds up for mining. It's not the most efficient card out there, but I'm averaging around 40-50 MH/s on Ethereum. For the price, I think it's a decent option for casual miners."

"Yup, I've been mining on a mid-range GPU (AMD 6600 XT) for a few months now, and it's been decent so far. You can expect some decent profits if you're only mining one or two coins, but don't expect to break any records. I'd say it's worth it if you're already running a mining rig and just looking to upgrade."
