Title: Unveiling the Hidden Gems: Most Overlooked Albums That Deserve More Love

Hey fellow music lovers, let's be real - there are so many albums out there that get lost in the shuffle, but are basically masterpieces waiting to be discovered. In this thread, I want to start throwing out some suggestions for those underground classics that we all know and love, but the mainstream world hasn't caught on to yet. What are some of your personal favorites that don't get the recognition they deserve?

Yooo, gotta disagree with the haters, "Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs" by Derek & the Dominos is definitely an underappreciated album - it's a masterclass in bluesy rock. The way Eric Clapton's guitar work elevates the entire album is pure magic. Anyone else listening to this one for the first time?

"Lowkey loving this thread. I've been listening to a lot of lesser-known jazz albums from the 50s and 60s lately. 'Moody's Mood For Love' by Eddie Jefferson is a personal favorite, super underrated in my opinion"

I'm low-key excited to see this thread, been meaning to dive back into some old album lists. For me, one hidden gem that comes to mind is 'Toxicity' by System of a Down - underrated for sure, but that album is straight fire.

"Yooo, just got to talk about my all-time fave album, 'Stankonia' by OutKast. I know it's not exactly 'hidden', but it's definitely an underrated masterpiece. The fusion of hip-hop and psychedelia is truly mind-blowing."

"Yooo, I'm lowkey obsessed with Kendrick's 'good kid, m.A.A.d city' album, but another hidden gem I feel like gets overlooked is J Dilla's 'Donuts'. That dude's beat selection is pure fire, and the whole album's so vibe-y it'll transport you to another world."
