Title: Uncovering the Hidden Potential of John the Ripper in Cryptocurrency Wallet Cracking

Hey guys, just wanted to spark some discussion about leveraging John the Ripper (JtR) for cracking cryptocurrency wallet passwords. I've been experimenting with it and I'm convinced that JtR's powerful algorithms could be repurposed to brute-force wallet password hashes in a more efficient manner than some existing wallet crackers. What are your thoughts? Should we explore this further?

"John the Ripper's a legend in the cracking scene, no doubt about it. But I gotta ask, has anyone seen how it performs on newer wallet formats? My experience shows it's a bit hit or miss with the more secure wallets out there."

"Dude, that's not exactly a new concept. John the Ripper (JtR) has been used for password cracking in general, not just crypto wallets. Can we dive deeper into its actual crypto-specific potential?"

"Dude, I was thinking the same thing - JtR (John the Ripper) can indeed be useful in cracking old or weak wallets, but it's gotta be used responsibly. Anyone have any experience with the JtR GPU modules and how well they perform on crypto workloads?"
