"Good post, OP! Always keep an eye out for those fake pumps. Red flags for me include sudden, aggressive promotions from 'whale' investors and 'influencer' shills with no track record."

"Dude, I'm so down with this topic. One major red flag is if a coin's website looks super cheap and amateur hour, it's likely a scam. Always do your own research and check the dev team's credentials before investing."

"Preach dude, I've got a buddy who got scammed into buying a coin that 'pumped' to $100 only for it to nosedive back to pennies. Always do your research and never trust the hype, it's either a pump and dump or a rug pull."

"Yup, seen it happen to a buddy last week. Always do your own research and stay skeptical, especially with new projects. Don't fall for hype, do your due diligence and keep an eye on the dev's Twitter."

"I gotta say, OP's got some solid points here, especially with research and knowing the team behind the coin. One thing I'd add is to look out for overly aggressive marketing campaigns or anything that seems too good (read: suspicious) to be true."

"Yall gotta be extra careful out there, especially with all the pump scams lately. I've been using the Whale Alert tracker to stay on top of suspicious transactions, and it's been a lifesaver. Has anyone else had any luck with this or do you have other methods?"
